i really dont understand y would anyone sawp a 5.0 in either a SVO turbocoupe or Merkur. you have a classic car sitting in front of you with a badass motor and your gonna yank it out lol we good luck with the swap
yeah mabey but i rather have a nice runnin v8 then a 4 banger and you cant really say any thing till you have done and drivin it so till you can prove that a 2.3 is better than a 5.0 HO i think a made a great choice and ill have great luck with the swap caus eits almost done!
Don’t get rid of the 2.3, Turbocoupes are getting harder and harder to find! You can get more horsepower for your money out of that engine than the 5.0. Swap in a T-5 and leave the engine alone.
2.3 is shit turbo with no intercooler? sell it and slap in a 5.0 h.o. mustang motor thats what i got in my 1985

I would also suggest you keep the 2.3. They are very stout. 400 horse on the stock bottom end! Its cheaper to build the 2.3 and it WILL beat that 5.0!
i saw your ad on craigslist, and have to say that you should keep this package for that car.. there is a big aftermarket for the 2.3t and lots of potential.. if you think you might keep it, message me on here and i’ll give you some links with good info
